Quality Management System certification is issued by certification bodies to organizations whose quality management system conforms to ISO 9001. The objective is to provide confidence that products and services consistently meet customer, statutory and regulatory requirements and that the organization is committed to continual improvement.
A certification body applying to MBAS for accreditation under this scheme shall demonstrate conformity to ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC 17021-3, MBAS accreditation procedures, applicable IAF mandatory documents and relevant statutory/regulatory requirements.
