Accreditation for Environmental Management Systems (EMS)

Environmental Management System certification is issued to organizations that have established processes to identify environmental aspects, evaluate impacts, meet compliance obligations, set measurable objectives and improve environmental performance.
A certification body applying to MBAS for accreditation under this scheme shall demonstrate conformity to ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC 17021-2, MBAS accreditation procedures, applicable IAF mandatory documents and relevant statutory/regulatory requirements.
