Accreditation for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS)

Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification confirms that an organization has a structured framework to identify hazards, assess risks, implement controls, meet legal obligations, reduce incidents and improve OH&S performance.
A certification body applying to MBAS for accreditation under this scheme shall demonstrate conformity to ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC 17021-10, including applicable IAF MD requirements, MBAS accreditation procedures, applicable IAF mandatory documents and relevant statutory/regulatory requirements.
